James 1:19
This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; This Sunday we will continue to work through the glorious truth that God changes His people through the process of sanctification. He patiently wades through our dysfunction as we are transformed into His likeness. We will dive into the New Testament book of James. Philippians 2:1-8
Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, 2 make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. 3 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; 4 do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Next week we start community groups at New Life. Each semester when we begin group life I am reminded about the one another statements found in the New Testament.
