Sunday Gathering 5/24/20

This Sunday New Life will begin Phase 1 of our re-entry process. The church will offer a worship gathering at 9am and 11am. The space in the sanctuary will be limited to 25. We will also provide additional space in the fellowship hall for overflow. During this phase we will not staff the nursery with volunteers but the space is available for parents to tend the needs of their children. Here are some things that we encourage you to remember as we go through this phase:

We are increasing the amount of cleaning and disinfecting that takes place on the church campus and will continue to do so during this phase.

If you are sick or have been sick within the past 3 days PLEASE stay home and join in on Livestream at 11am on Facebook. I am encouraging our staff and volunteers to do the same. While this is always a wise and loving practice, it is worth reminding all of us to take this precaution as there are many vulnerable people in our church. We continue to publish our sermons online each week. I hope these resources can encourage those who may be unable to attend church.

Practice good hygiene. Use hand sanitizer when necessary. The volunteer staff has placed bottles of hand sanitizer in various places around the church for you to use.

Minimize physical contact. Families and individuals are asked to respect safe social distancing – 6ft. Parents are asked to keep their children contained and not allow them to run about in the building or auditorium. You are welcome to avoid shaking hands and hugging as we greet one another at church. While some of us will be less worried about this than others, please be considerate and understanding of those who feel they may need to take extra care during this time.

Please note each person will need to evaluate their own health and feelings about their return to congregational gatherings. Your presence in the assembly is your own and final decision to be respected. If you feel you should remain at home there is no reason to feel that you will be judged having a lack of faith or commitment.

May 24th Worship Gathering

Hey guys, I have two important announcements concerning re-entry at New Life!

The elders have set May 24th as the official day to re-enter at New Life.
We will offer a 9am and 11am service with no more than 25 participants in the sanctuary and 20 participants in the fellowship hall as an overflow room. The fellowship hall will have lifestream available.

Please follow the 10 day prayer guide as we prepare to celebrate Christ together on May 24th.
