Community  groups

Life. Together.

Get connected with a Community Group!

Finding community with others around the gospel is a vital part of New Life. That's why we call our small groups “Community Groups.”  In all of our groups, we want to encourage you to connect with other believers to care for each other, grow in your faith together, serve practical needs, and reach outside the church with the Gospel.

When and where
do groups meet?

Our groups meet throughout the city of Goose Creek and North Charleston in homes on evenings that work best for the group members.

Is child care
provided?
At New Life we desire to provide a space where the family can spend time together learning about Jesus in a friendly environment. Ultimately our groups are family friendly and we are excited about fostering communities of inter-generational relationships.

What will we study in our group?
Our groups study the passage that will be taught during the gathering for the upcoming Sunday. We use the SOAP method of Bible Study. S.O.A.P. stands for Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer. We find this method of Bible study provides a simple strategy for modeling a personal Bible study process. In addition, the S.O.A.P. method is great for personal application.

How long does
a group last?

Typically each group meets for an hour to an hour and a half. During this time we share a common meal, enjoy fellowship with other believers and study the Bible. The goal of each group will be to multiply themselves in two years.
If you have any questions about Community Groups, let us know. We're happy to help you get connected!
