Volunteers must have a completed background check on file in the church office. Volunteers in nursery or for kids services will be set up in Planning Center to maintain their service schedule. Volunteers for all community events are encouraged to wear their NLBC Shirts.
New Life Kids Worship
We are now seeking volunteers for teachers and helpers in Kids Worship on Sunday mornings for the months of August, September and October.
New Life Nursery Attendants
Our Nursery Coordinator is seeking a couple more attendants to serve in the nursery during all services for ages 4 and under.
CSU Move In Day, August 18
8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Event Leader: Billy Harmon
We will be participating in the move in day at Charleston Southern University on Friday, August 18 from 8 a.m. - Noon. We need several volunteers to be on hand to staff our booth, hand out water bottles and possibly help move boxes or furniture for the incoming students.
Serving Those Who Serve, August 25-26
12 p.m. - 12 p.m.
Event Leader: Billy Harmon and Nancy Drago
We are hosting a 24-hr service opportunity to feed meals to civil servants in Goose Creek. This event will start with lunch on Friday, August 25 and continue through lunch on Friday, August 26. We need people to help supply food, as well as staff this 24-hour service opportunity.
Community Yard Sale, September 9
6 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Event Leader: Rachel Woolard
We are having a yard sale (with free donuts!) on Saturday, Sept. 9. All donations need to be brought to the church by Sept. 6. So start saving your treasures now! If you have any large items, contact the church office and we can arrange help with pick up if needed. We need volunteers for sorting, pricing, set up and event staff.
Goose Creek Fall Festival, Oct. 7
10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Event Leader: Stephanie Dukes
We are participating in the Goose Creek Fall Festival and will have a booth with giveaways, games, popcorn/water, and candy. We need two teams of six people to tackle this event with two of them serving as face painters. Each team will work at our booth for three hours.
NLBC Trunk-or-Treat Festival, October 29
4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.

This year, our NLBC Trunk-or-Treat Festival will be held on Sunday, Oct. 29. We need volunteers for trunks, games, food and event staff.
